Down at the end of the line, a crocheted jellyfish drifts and bobs. Pale pink, two black bead eyes, and a curtain of white tentacles that ripple with the smallest flick of your wrist.
There's catnip tucked inside, so the interest starts before the chase does. A bell jingles at the clasp with every swing, and the tentacles do the rest, skittering just out of reach.
The rod telescopes from 48 cm to 75 cm and bends right over without snapping, which is what gives the jellyfish its unpredictable bounce. The beech handle is smooth and light, so your arm holds out as long as your cat does.
suitable of all, the jellyfish unclips. A bonus feather is included too, so there's always something new waiting on the end of the line.
